I'm Alp, a product designer based in Istanbul. I work at Studio Scale on fintech and B2B products for clients across Europe.

I studied Industrial Design at Istanbul Technical University, with two exchanges that shaped how I think. An Erasmus+ term at Linnaeus University in Växjö, across humanities and design, and an ATHENS exchange at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on the politics of the EU. That mix of social studies and design is still how I work. To me, UX is never just the screen. It is the person using it and the society they live in, and I try to design for both. Industrial design taught me to think about systems before surfaces, so I still approach a screen the way I would an object: what does this need to do, and what is the simplest honest way to let it do that? These days that means fintech and B2B products, where the details carry real weight and getting them right actually matters to the people on the other side.
